Pick a form factor
With desktops, the shape of the box drives most of the decision — how much can you expand it, and where can it live.
Tiny
One litre. VESA-mounts behind the monitor and disappears. No expansion.

Why Tiny Wins Most Offices
A litre of computer, mounted out of sight
For anything short of CAD, a Tiny does the job of a tower while freeing the whole desks. It can mount to the back of a monitor, draws less power, and makes a fleet far easier to keep clean and consistent.
The trade-off is expansion — no graphics gard, and limited drive bays. If that matters, setup up to SFF.

Small Form Factor
The compromise that usually turns out to be right
A SFF gives up the Tiny’s disappearing act but keeps a low-profile card slot and a second drive bay. That’s enough for enhanced graphics without moving to a full tower.
If you’re standardizing a fleet and can’t predict every users needs three years out, this is a safe bet.

All-in-One
One cable to the wall
Screen and computer in a single unit, so there’s no box, no video cable and nothing under the desk. For home and reception desks, meeting rooms and anywhere the public can see the setup, that tidiness is the whole argument.

Tower
Room to change your mind later
Full-height cards, more drive bays, more memory sockets and a larger power supply. A tower is the only form factor you can meaningfully upgrade.

ThinkStation
Certified for the software you actually run
ThinkStations are ISV-certified — the vendors of AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks and the rest have tested and signed off these exact configurations. When something goes wrong, that certification is what stops the finger-pointing between hardware and software support.
Xeon processors and RTX PRO graphics are available where the workload needs them, along with ECC memory for long renders.

Legion
Gaming hardware, plainly labelled as such
Legion towers carry consumer GeForce RTDX graphics and high-airflow cooling. For gaming and for creator work that leans on raw GPU speed.
